Got the first part of what’s going to be a homemade rig for a racing sim. Only paid $25 for it and it’s in great shape. Just waiting on funds for a force feedback wheel before the real work getd started. And 100 jalop points for anybody who can tell me what kind of car the seat is from!

I knew someone was going to know it right away! And yes, back when Honda put great seats in their cars. I was very pleasantly surprised when I sat in it, much more bolstering that it looks like!

That would be too good to be true, but almost as good, they’re from a Prelude

Ah, I knew that Honda pattern!

I cant believe its from a Prelude really, this rivals some of the sport seats I have in my BMWs!

Nice! I have a minivan seat from the 3rd row of a Kia Sedona. No real lateral support but OMFG so plush and relaxing great for hours of racing (or binge watching Netflix)

I saw that yesterday and got extremely jealous, knew it from was a conquest the instant i saw those belts. Its a shame you could get such awesome seats (and cars for that matter) 20-30 years ago but its nearly impossible today

yea, I cant sit in this for more than a few hours, but thats probably for the better, haha

Whats kind of annoying is that my cat LOVES this seat. So this is where he decides to plop down and sit; usually leaving me on the floor or on my bed very far from the TV!

Loved those seats in my old Prelude. Mine were just plain grey though, no tiger pattern. 1992-1996, Gen 4 Prelude...fun car, funky dash.

These are just plain blue, Im deciding if I want to dye them black or just keep them as is

Tag the posts for the build. I got my welder 4.5 years ago, built many things, but haven’t done the Sim setup yet. Hopefully in the next year.
